Durant Nature Preserve Program: Ghost Chasers
Join NCBP member Tracy Feldman at Durant Nature Preserve in Raleigh on a hunt for the Piedmont Blue Ghost Firefly.
Description: Piedmont blue ghost fireflies are spring fireflies. They are very elusive, so much so that they were only recently recognized as a new species in the Piedmont. We'll join the hunt as part of the City Nature Challenge 2024. Bring a flashlight and water bottle. Pre-registration is required.
